Get ready to discover, explore and appreciate the rich and amazing variety of museums available in the area during the hugely popular “Sacramento Museum Day” on Saturday, February 4! As a one day only special opportunity each year, the community is encouraged to visit new and different museums and popular destinations at little or no cost. New this year, 26 of the museums are offering FREE admission and two destinations located in residential areas — the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town — will offer half-priced admission to offset parking control and security costs. Sacramento Museum Day is designed to introduce the community to experience the Capital City’s incredible wealth of art, history, science and wildlife.
